I am a Senior Neurology Registrar in the West Midlands of the United Kingdom. I graduated from Aristotle University in Thessaloniki Greece and completed a Master’s degree in Clinical Neuroscience at King’s College London. I completed my postgraduate medical training in London before moving to Birmingham for my specialist training in Neurology. Furthermore, I am also the West Midlands representative for the Association of British Neurologists Trainee Committee. I have a particular interest in immune-mediated peripheral neuropathies, and I am passionate about education and teaching.

I am a Consultant Neurologist at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and Honorary Associate Professor at University College London.

My special clinical interests are the diagnosis and treatment of dizziness, balance and eye movement disorders. I have written over 100 papers on clinical and basic aspects of eye movements, balance and spatial orientation, and several book chapters. I am an active teacher in vestibular neurology, regular International invited speaker on vestibular neuroscience topics, and run a popular dizziness and balance workshop for medical professionals in London.

I am a Neurology Doctor based in London. I originally studied medicine at university, also intercalating in Psychological Medicine.

Following my graduation, I went on to complete an Academic Foundation Programme, before moving into a National Institute of Health Research funded Academic Clinical Fellowship at the level of core medical training. During this period, I completed Membership of the Royal College of Physicians exams.

Over the course of my integrated clinical-academic training, I also authored scientific papers, won prizes, and obtained a grant in order to conduct research abroad. More recently, I’ve also successfully completed my Neurology Specialty Certificate Examination.

Outside of work, I’m incredibly artistic and enjoy yoga as well as travelling.

I have worked as Consultant Neurologist and Neurophysiologist in General District Hospitals, first in Italy and then in the United Kingdom for over 10 years, accumulating a vast amount of experience.

Currently, I am the Clinical Director for Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology at the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. My main areas of interest are epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology, along with neuromuscular diseases.

I have maintained a link with clinical research and have an interest in education, currently acting as an educational supervisor and Honorary Senior Clinical lecturer for the University of Birmingham.

I am a Consultant Neuropathologist at Addenbrooke's Hospital Cambridge, Service Lead for Neuropathology in Cambridge, and Director of the Cambridge Brain Bank. I am a Consultant Neurologist and Senior Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge. My clinical interest is in cognitive neurology, particularly Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD). These are two rare types of dementia that cause problems with movement and cognition.

I have an interest in public engagement with science through the arts as the scientific adviser to the Folkestone Festival of the Brain, and I am an adviser to the Steering Committee for the World Young Leaders in Dementia.
