This module, composed of 10 clinical cases, assesses your knowledge of the management of hypertension. On successful completion of this resource, you will receive one hour of CPD.
Hypertension is a common disorder in primary care and is associated with comorbidities, such as cerebrovascular and cardiovascular disease. Much data has appeared over the last decade revealing the importance of treating hypertension and the benefits in both mortality and morbidity. We recognise that the management of hypertension is primarily focused in primary care and the nurse practitioner is fundamental in delivering this service.
These self assessment cases provide a good overview of the typical cases that you will encounter in clinical practice. Prepare yourself for the challenge of the questions with the reading list and then complete the 10 questions, reflect on these and obtain your certificate.
Once you successfully complete the resource - and achieve the minimum pass rate of 60% - you'll be awarded with a downloadable one hour CPD Certificate, which you can print or upload to your CPD Portfolio.
