Diabetes is reaching epidemic proportions as a consequence of the burden of obesity. It is also a disease which primary care frequently manages, and is a large component of the quality outcomes framework. However, it is not a purely homogeneous condition and is increasingly being sub-classified.
This module is designed to test your knowledge of the diagnostic criteria and the classification of diabetes, and also introduces concepts of metabolic syndrome.
Once you complete the module — and achieve the minimum pass rate of 60% — you'll be awarded with a downloadable 1 hour CPD Certificate, which you can print or upload to your CPD Portfolio.
